Oh, I agree. The Voobly Streaming Team has been in a bad place lately and I hope I can help support streamers again more in the future. I also hope that both smaller & partnered streamers will present this event to their viewers.

First and foremost though, this event is meant for the players (-> good format/rules, active admins). This is the #1 priority for the event to become a success, imo.

If Voobly alone streams this tourney then the tourney is doomed. Check out for example MoA 2v2. AMAZING tourney, and who has streamed most of the tourney so far? Memb, and he has streamed way more than Voobly.

It's off-topic, but since it's raised here I will offer this correction: actually, up until the point where the members of the former Voobly Community Team decided to resign and therefore ceased the organisation of Voobly streaming with immediate effect, Voobly had streamed many more matches from Masters of Arabia 2v2 than any other channel.

Still None of us have received any information... Chris sent one or two messages saying he would reply "soon" (two days ago), which judging from past attempts to contact him could be upward of a month. Meanwhile the tournament is looming and nobody is any the wiser.

The tournament was announced two weeks ago.
Right now nobody knows what to expect in terms of coverage, who/where it might be streamed etc.

Not sure what you were waiting for a month ago, but it certainly wasn't about EGG #1. I suggest we stop this travesty here.

What is the difference between
a) Start from $250, win/lose +-$10
b) Start from $0, win +$20

Nothing but the streaming policy to blame for it. There must be pretty good games happening but most people are not getting to watch.

I streamed most Record Games live and it's getting huge attention in spanish-speaking community. I mean such great names playing now, 8 excellent players were in the WB last round. When I streamed Nicov vs stark recs it got arround 500-600 live viewers and when posted in Youtube it got arround 5000 views. There's just no wrong watching nicov, theviper, tatoh, daut etc.
Today I'll probably stream Lierey vs DauT recs :) , very good tourney so far and looking really fwd to it!
