Iam using windows 7 in icon of the game only can see run compatibility with windows xp.

Tks its working but only via voobly. Via GR or ip doesnt work. any clue why?

Dude, download the VEG Windowed Mode for AoC in the Downloads Forum, Patches Section (link: viewtopic.php?f=101&t=25503 ), read/perform carefully the installing instructions then it should work both for IP and GR games. Anything else just PM me.

Not working 100%. Starts in window mode, i can go in till room open i click ready to launch but them error and force to close the game.

Hi again dude,
Are u certain that u followed all the instructions for the installation of the VEG MOD?
Note that in the .zip there is a file named aoc.exe, this file should be renamed to age2_x1.exe and placed inside the folder C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Age of Empires II/age2_x1 (along with all other files that comes inside the .zip). The original age2_x1.exe file should be backed up and deleted by you.
If u are using GameRanger, u must also change the .exe that is used by GR to load the game: click on Edit > Options > Games > Age of Empires II: The Conquerors > Browse > then show the location for the new age2_x1.exe that u just copied.
Try this instructions down to the letter and keep me posted on your progress.

Ok, it works in 10240 but in widescreen doenst work in GR or ip.

On voobly is perfect works 100% in widescreen. Via GR or ip is dark ( very dark )

I guess via ip or GR stream in widescreen doenst work.

Of course man, the AoC/GR doesnt have widescreen builtin feature, voobly does. If u want to have Widescreen in your IP/GR games, u have to download and install the WideScreen patch, link to the Patch:

Note that if u want to use Windowed Mode AND Widescreen together u will have to replace the Patch file Header as VEG suggests on a reply to that topic, just read the replies and u will find the instructions.
