Why are you running on Budapest?

In the UK, you have to be 17 to run a half marathon, but in Hungary the minimum age is 12. Also, it's a great way to see a city.

UK laws

I wonder what the punishment would be for running in the marathon underage while possessing a blade longer than 5 cm and saying something politically incorrect

Ah that time of the year again. People start their sport seasons while mine has ended. :(

The main reason is that I want to see the city, and running through it is a great way to do that!

I live in Budapest, and I have to say we're kinda pissed because of these marathons 11 not because we have any kind of problem with a race like that, just the fact that it's going through the very center of the city, normally the busiest areas, means that the traffic will be terrible over the course of the day 11 all of that hardship just so that the posters of the race can look good with people running in front of historic buildings lol

but its not intended to be a discouragement 11 I hope you'll like the city. I can give a few suggestions where to go/what to see if you want to
