Guys, how about forming a small council of 5-6 people and approaching a gaming studio to talk to Microsoft?

I don't think anyone will read that email or care....

But good luck.

Sorry to rain on your parade.

Microsoft is most interested in selling new games, not the possibility of making a few pennies on a game they already decided to shut down, and unless you offer a huge sum for the source code it's not even worth their effort to sell it.

Good luck evoking some PITY from Microsoft to help you, but big businesses have done everything in their power to eliminate showing PITY and be ruthless for power and wealth.

It gonna be hard task to convince Microsoft to support again this game, because their new projects such as AOE Online... But dont give up with the idea, and be persistent.

Council can be formed for these high quality people, who understand problems, and have great insight into needs of players, what happen in history of AOC and already spend so much time about thinking how community and game can be improved.

I recommend: ZeroEmpires, Dreams, Buga_The_Great, Cysion, TheProphet.. and everyone who is matured, well informed and competent.
