Voobly Program Issues?

Postby  Milmano » Wed Jan 06, 2016 3:23 pm

I dont know whats up recently but for some reason the Voobly Program has a serious bug i think. Everytime i log in if i click on anything other than the game browser it just crashes. It takes me like 5 attempts to get to the Medieval Siege lobby.

I reinstalled voobly like twice and it hasnt resolved the program i have also spoken to a few of my friends that have a similar issues.

Im just wondering if anyone else has a similar issue or a fix or if the Voobly team know about this?

Thanks.

That sounds terrible, if youre stuck for games, theres this thing on steam called HD, now with more than 2 lobbies (as of yesterday)

I had a similar bug start a few days ago. For me it's the game browser that causes the crashing. I've found that if I click close in the game browser as soon as I possibly can when it opens Voobly doesn't crash. I've also tried reinstalling with no luck. I've been using this link to open Voobly without the game browser which seems to work just fine. I think it may be some issue with windows 10.

Got win10 64 bit here and not had any problems, not sure if windows is the problem. Are people with win7/8.1 having issues too?

I usually get a crash if I use the game browser to click on anything other than the lobby name (e.g. Medieval Siege). If I click on somebody's profile, an alert etc., Voobly stops responding immediately. I have no problems once I get into the lobby other than that every room I open has a resized window where I can't see the players' ratings or much of their names (left column is too small). This room resizing coincided with when I started to get the game browser crashes. Windows 10, but from talking to others I don't think it's unique to any Windows platform, and it used to be stable. I feel more like it's general program instability introduced by the last update, whenever that it was.
