Noob questions: experts dont read

I have seen in many a recs people garrisoning vills for 2 purposes: to change food vills to wood or to defend enemy attack..

wanted to know 2 things..

how do u quickly garrison selected villis by hotkeys?
once garrisoned how do u get them back to work?

I know its basic but thought I will ask if there is some sorta shortcut coz I do all this on mouse clicks which is time consuming..

load up your game and hit the Options
then look at the hotkeys

Unit Command: Garrison default key is G
Town Center: Go back to work default key is W

[Nola]

scroll down=garnison
scroll up=go back to work

these have been told me after years playing AoC and really helped me! it's like iddle vill on space bar = awesome

I think I found out.. its basically garison by enabling one click garison(easier than most hot keys) then shift and release 1 villi to desired gather point.. back to work makes them go back to the same thing..

for e.g. I want my food villis to go wood..
