I still like my idea: starting from feudal, italians fishers could garrison 1 unit. It would be like Venice boats!!! And they would be feared by landings. It would create many possibilities in islands game!! =D

Fisherman bonus would indeed be interesting.

What about if there was a kill counter on every unit in the game that could show you how many units they've killed. If your allies are uncommunicative or simply just x'ing not saying anything clear or precise, looking at enemy units with cartography could give a quick idea of how many losses your ally is sustaining. Or perhaps to have kill stats shown during battle events that occur in the game, shown in a temporary counter to everyone as the battle event is occurring, since these battle events can be significant to the outcome.

The fish bonus seems way too op for the viks or italians those civ's already have a very good navy and stuff
Can it be given to Sicilians instead then if the bonus is fine? I actually like shore fishing, water civlizations must show why they are actual water civilizations. somehow, bonus or tech I wish to see this (I could see it as a Feudal Age tech for water civ, and then italians would get it half off by way of their bonus)

There is already a new tech called Gilnets that makes fishing traps much better :)


and i was thinking that the spanish cannon galleon bonus could be applied to bombard cannons in some sort of very very ewpensive imperial age tecc
The Slavs look to powerfull in DM with cheaper and siege + almost full trash
