So, "castle time" I thought was the time it took to reach castle age, not erect a castle. In that case I have no time. My 10:56 was reaching castle-age. To build a castle would prolly need franks and another map and slower time.

And yeah, cpt_kidd's time (erecting a castle) was pre 1.0c (which make a difference) and this alongside his amazing analytic skills was one of the many reasons he landed the job at ES.

That's why I said might be before the patch. Chinese of course are a lot different from 1.0c and 1.0.

I am thinking this strategy plus all villies on stone during castle transition.. u will have a castle over enemy in around 12-13 mins..

Yeah I agree its pretty useless with 15vills. Most likely you have next to no res upon reaching castle. The Biz one...he reached castle with 1w, 63f, 81g and 0s - but he left his vills idle after sheep ran out..but then again, if you can have enough wood for rax/stable you can have a knight in enemy camp pretty soon

Oh, and Biz was more than lucky with sheeps and lured boar with scout, and reduces boar hp with tc , lured 4 deers, pretty elegant "transporting" of vill using garrison to move them from one point of tc to another on res - pretty sure thats done using pauses

Its still pretty impressive - especially considering std res and idle tc from 04:36 to 05:00 (!!)

In a real rm mp game I think it'll be pretty hard getting under 12mins - if youre not viper/daut/etc caliber that is
