For wide-screen you are talking about (boekabart`s AoE2Wide), check this post. But if you install UserPatch over VEG MOD as you wanted, you`ll get much better wide-screen support out-of-the-box You`ll be able to select the correct screen resolution for your monitor, and player interface in-game looks better (centered and tiled, not stretched).

Ok, thanks One thing, there is no way to run v1.1 without the CD? : (

With UserPatch alone, no. But if you already have a no-CD exe and install UserPatch over it, you will still be able to play without a CD.

When experts stream their waiting for game menu is not in fullscreen mode, is this is patch for it?

I`m not sure, but I think this is the reason for what you described:

6. Before a launch, in a Voobly Game Room, make sure these 3 settings are selected:
1. Game >> DirectX >> Render in 32 bit color
2. Game >> DirectX >> Start in Window-Mode (Requires 32-bit)
3. Game >> DirectX >> Advanced Features >> Hide windows title bar and move window to 0px,0px

Thanks thats what I meant but my computer is 64 bit and aoe crashes in those settings.

When I launch the game in gameranger, it goes into full screen rather than window mode

also I can't use voobly window mode because when I move the cursor there's a litle black box all around it...
